Poetry Festival Presentation 
As one of the members of your university’s creative writing program, you’ve been asked to introduce your favorite poet, who will be attending your school’s annual poetry festival. Write a three-minute oral presentation (at least 500 words) that explains your interpretation of a poem and connects it directly to a specific life experience. Be sure that your interpretation includes an analysis of the poem’s elements (such as imagery, sound, rhythm, diction, and tone) and how those elements contribute to the poem’s theme. Then compare the themes and experiences expressed in the poem with your own beliefs and experiences. First and second drafts are required. Please provide a visual aid (e.g. illustration, photograph) to enhance your presentation.
