WWI & Internet Literacy Final Project Using their individual WWI topics, students will prepare a PowerPoint presentation and a small table display that includes components from the unit activities in addition to further research materials. WWI & Internet Lit Final Project Presentation Components
	EXCELLENT Student did an excellent job on his/her presentation. 10 pts	GOOD Student did a good job on their presentation, however there is room for improvement. 7 pts	POOR Student did a very poor job on their presentation, putting forth little to no effort. 5 pts	UNPREPARED Student was completely unprepared for their project. 0 pts
Unit Products Included Mind Map of Power Alignment Propaganda Poster Letter Home Poem 2 Interviews	EXCELLENT All unit products are included as part of the presentation and are clearly labeled and organized.	GOOD All unit products are included as part of the presentation, however they are not clearly labeled and/or organized.	POOR Not all unit products are included or are so messy and disorganized that they were very difficult to decipher.	UNPREPARED Student did not include any of the unit products.
PowerPoint Slideshow A slideshow of the student topic.	EXCELLENT Slideshow is an informative, well organized, and logical compilation of the student topic. It is visually appealing and incorporates graphics, text, and other formatting that is representative of the topic and easy to view.	GOOD Slideshow presents the student topic in a logical manner with some graphics and formatting included.	POOR Slideshow is disorganized and contains no graphics.	UNPREPARED Student did not include a PowerPoint slideshow.
Unique Information One unique or surprising piece of information about the topic.	EXCELLENT Student has included one truly unique or surprising piece of information about their topic that enhances the overall presentation.	GOOD Student has included a piece of information that is slightly off the track of general research for their topic.	POOR Student has included a piece of information that is not considered to be outside the realm of general information for their topic.	UNPREPARED Student did not include a unique piece of information.
Timeline A 12 point timeline of WWI history that includes the student topic.	EXCELLENT Student has compiled an interesting set of dates for their timeline that meshes their topic very well into the overall WWI timeline in an effective manner that includes graphics, dates, and names where necessary.	GOOD Student has included a timeline that incorporates their topic into WWI. No graphics or additional data is included.	POOR Student is missing some dates for their timeline.	UNPREPARED Student did not include a timeline.
Personal Summary / Opinions An original summary of the topic that includes student opinions.	EXCELLENT Student has included a personal summary of their topic that includes original and insightful opinions.	GOOD Student has included a summary on their topic, however their opinions are not fully formed.	POOR Student has included a summary, however no opinions are included or the writing is "canned" and not truly original.	UNPREPARED Student did not include a personal summary or any opinions.
Biography / Citations Reference sources included as biography and citations - minimum of 4 internet research sources.	EXCELLENT Student has included a complete and well documented biography. Citations are included for authentic and authoritative research sources from the internet that are each unique and different.	GOOD Student has included a biography and citations that point to their internet sources, however those sources are redundant or not documented in correct format.	POOR Student has included an incomplete biography, citations, or internet sources are not authentic. Wikipedia is used as a primary resource.	UNPREPARED Student did not include a biography or citations.

	EXCELLENT Student did an excellent job on his/her presentation. 10 pts	GOOD Student did a good job on their presentation, however there is room for improvement. 7 pts	POOR Student did a very poor job on their presentation, putting forth little to no effort. 5 pts	UNPREPARED Student was completely unprepared for their project. 0 pts
Method of Presentation A method of delivery that was out of the ordinary.	EXCELLENT Student has chosen a presentation delivery method that is unique and out of the ordinary. It is logical, organized, and well presented.	GOOD Student has presented their data well, however the method of delivery is somewhat ordinary.	POOR Student did not present any data outside the given guidelines, there was no originality. Presentation was uninspiring.	UNPREPARED Student did not make a presentation.
Student Performance How did student perform in presentation.	EXCELLENT Student is a dynamic presenter that engages the audience and presents their material in a clear and concise manner.	GOOD Student is able to present their data in an organized manner that gave all pertinent data, however the presentation is somewhat flat and could use more energy.	POOR Student was difficult to follow, hard to understand, and disorganized.	UNPREPARED Student did not present any data verbally as a presentation.
Overall Look & Organization Look and sequence of table display.	EXCELLENT Table display is well organized and labeled. It is presented in an eye-catching manner that engages the audience to explore further.	GOOD Table display is organized, yet may not be fully labeled. It is a nice display but does not necessarily draw in the audience further.	POOR Table display is messy creating disarray that is difficult to understand. It is uninspiring and shows little effort.	UNPREPARED Student did not present any physical materials.
Audience Response Audience response to overall presentation.	EXCELLENT Audience response was very favorable. Response cards indicate that something was learned from the student presentation.	GOOD Audience response was good. Response cards indicate that presentation was interesting, yet somewhat difficult to follow.	POOR Audience response was poor. Response cards indicate presentation was hard to understand, difficult to follow, and not very interesting.	UNPREPARED Student did not make a presentation.
