7th Grade CPR STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO PERFORM CPR IN A SCENARIO AND PASS THE PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
	Poor The student did not complete at all 1 pts	Fair The student did not complete the goal but has some content that is correct 2 pts	Good The student did complete the goal. 3 pts	Excellent The student both completed the goal but exceeded the goal/time 4 pts
Scene Safety/PPE Student will determine if the scene is safe. The student will have on gloves as PPE. This can be verbalized.	Poor The student did not complete either a scene safety check or put on PPE	Fair The student did determine if the scene was safe or had the correct PPE but both instructions were not followed.	Good The student determined if the scene was safe and had/verbalized correct PPE	Excellent The student determined if the scene was safe and had/verbalized correct PPE while already getting down to the unconscious person ready to perform the next step. Within 2 seconds of being told scene secure and touching the person to check for responsiveness.
Checks for responsiveness Student will try and wake the person up and do a sternum rub with no response.	Poor The student did not check for responsiveness	Fair The student did check for responsiveness but did not perform the sternum rub	Good The student was able to check for responsiveness and used the sternum rub	Excellent The student was able to check for responsiveness and used the sternum rub and was able to activate the next step within 2 seconds of being told no response.
Activates the 911/Calls for AED After responsiveness is determined the student will point to a specific person and tell them to call 911 and then point to another person and tell them to get the AED.
