Arachnid	Number of Legs Arachnids always have 8 legs.	Number of Eyes Arachnids can have up to 2, 4, 6, or even 8 eyes.	Number of Body Segments Arachnids have 2 body segments with spinnerets on the bottom to make webs.	Correctly Identifys Bug Student is able to correctly identify whether he or she made an arachnid or an insect.
Insect	Number of Legs Insects always have 6 legs.	Number of Eyes Many insects have compound eyes which consist of anywhere between 2-30,000 lenses.	Number of Body Segments Insects have 3 body segments. Insects have antenna and sometimes have wings.	Correctly Identifys Bug Student is able to correctly identify whether he or she made an arachnid or an insect.
