Size and Shape
Level 4
Pot is stable and both pieces look to have been the same size. The shape is a nice round sphere. The wall is even and consistent throughout.
Level 3
Pot is pretty stable with little wobble. The shape is pretty close to a balanced sphere. The sizes of the two piece were pretty similar.
Level 2
Pot is a little lopsided. The sizes were off and the shape isn't as good as it could be.
Level 1
It isn't a sphere and the two sizes were extremely different.
Texture
Level 4
Texture completed well and is easily visible in the design with paint
Level 3
Texture completed but not detailed.
Level 2
Texture is partially completed and incorrectly notated or detailed.
Level 1
Texture is partially completed and incorrectly notated or detailed.
Painting
Level 4
Care was taken, it is NEAT and all the paint is within the "lines" or boarders that were created. Excellent attention to detail, and the student did not rush, it does not look sloppy.
Level 3
Care was attempted but technique lacked. The monster does not have white spaces showing, but it does not look as neat as it could. Color spilled into other areas it should not have been in.
Level 2
Painting technique is lacking. It does not look like a lot of time was taking in painting it. Painting looks rushed and messy.
Level 1
Painting is insufficient in either time, technique, too many white spaces showing, or very sloppy.
DESIGN
Level 4
The pot shows that the student took great pride in their work. The design and construction looks carefully planned. The pot is neat and free of unwanted lumps, seams, marks, and cracks.
Level 3
The pot shows that the student took pride in their work. The design and construction looks planned. The pot has a few flaws: cracks, lumps, and or indents.
Level 2
The design and construction were planned. The pot has several flaws (unwanted bumps, cracks, seams showing) that detract from the overall look and design.
Level 1
The pot shows some designing and planning. The pot has several flaws: cracks, lumps, and or indents.
