Carp Wind Socks Given a study of kites and a description of the Japanese tradition of Boy's day the students will study the meaning of the carp. With practice creating pattern the students will reproduce the pattern on the water diffusing paper to create a carp wind sock. Carp Wind Socks Evaluation of pattern exploration, and craftsmanship
	Poor Showed little understanding of pattern through the planning sheet and poorly assembled windsock 1 pts	Fair Showed some understanding of pattern by creating a variety of designs. The fish was assembled correctly but not carefully 2 pts	Good Shows a very good understanding of pattern by experimenting with design in planning sheet . Carefully recreated the pattern on the windsock and neatly assembled the windsock ready for displaying. 3 pts
Understanding of pattern Through completion of the planning pattern sheet the student created a variety of patterns to chose from. With that the students recreated the desired pattern on the windsock in marker.	Poor	Fair	Good
