Time Signature	Below Average The time signature is drawn incorrectly or missing. The time signature is written more than needed.	Average The time signature written correctly AND in the correct spot.	Above Average + 2 points for writing your name.
Key Signature & Clefs	Below Average The key signature is not written in the correct spot or the correct number of spots. The sharps and flats are in the incorrect place Clef is wrong or missing	Average The key signature is written in the correct spot and the correct number of spots OR The sharps and flats are on the correct line or space. ( At least 1 correct key signature must exist) Clef is correct and present in most of the proper locations	Above Average The key signature is written in the correct spot and the correct number of spots. The sharps and flats are on the correct line or space. Clef is always present and correct where needed.
Bar lines & Rhythm	Below Average Barlines are missing or only placed sporadically. Rhythms do not match time signature throughout.	Average Bar lines are place correctly throughout 90% of the piece. Rhythms are correct and match the time signature with 3 or fewer mistakes.	Above Average Bar lines are place correctly throughout 100% of the piece.
