Banned Book Presentation 
Our Rubric will be use to Formally Assess the students in their presentation of their Banned Book projects. Key Criteria for this project include: time limit, content, use of multimedia tools, and organization. The effective use of these tool will result in a superior grade

Utilizes at least 4 unique sources (not including the banned book) & explains relevance

Presentation is well organized, information is clearly stated and there is a natural flow between topics.

A distinct lack of organization is apparent throughout the presentation, illustrating the lack practice and effort on the part of the student.
Poor

Presentation shows little to no effort on the part of the student. Organization is not present, and is presented more as impromptu.
Works Cited/Parenthetical Citations

Excellent

Minimum of four sources cited by utilizing parenthetical citations next to any information on a slide that is NOT the presenter's original idea.

Correct format on WC slides with inclusion of source medium (AKA “Print” or “Web”) and use of underhung.

No extraneous formatting on title of page, ABC order of sources, no numbering of sources.

No (or VERY minor) errors in parenthetical citations.
Good

Missing one criteria from Level 4.
Fair

Missing no more than two criteria.

Does not fulfill requirements.
Use of Multimedia

Excellent

The use of a multimedia tool is apparent and is used to enhance the learning of fellow students. Slides are not "crammed" full of text from which the presenter reads.
Good

Though multimedia tools are present, the use of them was not consistently effective, and lacked originality (ex. text heavy slide, no relevant images)
Fair

Multimedia tools, while present, lack the necessary components to engage classmates, and share information effectively

Little to no use of multimedia tools.
