Word Families Word Families While working independentally, students will be able to create words using their knowledge of word families. Students will later pair up with a partner to share word list and give and receive suggestions. Identification of Word Family	Excellent Student is able to correctly label word family.	Good Student is able to identify word family, but does not write word family.	Fair Student is able to identify word family with assistance from peers.	Poor Student is unable to label the word family displayed.
Cooperative Engagement	Excellent While students were sharing their work, student exhibited great listening skills, eyes were focused on the task, and engagement was displayed.	Good While students were sharing their work, student exhibited adequate listening skills, eyes were focused on the task, and engagement was shown more than half of the time.	Fair While students were sharing their work, student exhibited fair listening skills, eyes were focused on the task half of the time, and engagement was shown half of the time.	Poor While students were sharing their work, student exhibited listening skills, eyes were focused, and engagement was shown less than half of the time.
