Story Board Connection 3 pts All elements of a story are included. There is a protagonist and an antogonist within the story. The Climax is clear and the subject matter is age appropriate.	Excellent The flow of the stroy is present throughout and the voice of the author is present throughout the story.	Good Story is hard to follow at times and the elements of a story are missing at times. The voice of the author is present but not heard at times within the writing.	Poor to Fair Story does not have a protagonist or antagonist. Story does not have a climax and does not relate to the overall theme of the assignment. The voice of the author is lost.
Illustrations 3 pts Students have illustrated or computer generated the appropraite pictures to collorated with the writing on the pages	Excellent Illustrations and details are present and connect to all the written pages. Details are extreme and great care went into each picture.	Good Some illustrations are placed correctly and connected to the written pages. Detail to enhance the story is present.	Poor to Fair Illustrations are just placed on the page and are really not connected to the written page.
Cover 3 pts Creative ideas and neatness are present on the cover. All elements of a title are adapted.	Excellent Cover is creative and all elements of a cover are present.	Good Neatness is present. Very few marks are present and author is identified on cover.	Poor to Fair Cover has pencil marks and eraser marks on cover. The title and/or author is not present on cover.
Grammar 3 pts All proofreading skills are adapted within the writing. Spelling errors, run-ons and fragments are corrected.
