Student is constantly engaged in the class activity.
Above Average

Student is often engaged in the activities. Student could participate more in class activity, but is never causing a distraction and is rarely engaged in outside activities.
Average

Student is often engaged in the activity. Student needs an occasional reminder to get back on task and is occasionally engaged by outside unrelated activities.
Poor

Student is rarely involved with the class activity. Student frequently engages in outside activities during lecture.
Unacceptable

Student is never involved with the class activity.
Student is distracting to the class as a whole.
Preparation

Excellent

Student completed research and/or is ready with required materials for the class. Student has done all assignments with best effort and is ready for class.
Above Average

Student usually completes research and/or is ready with required materials for the class. Student has done required assignments and is ready for class.
Average

Student sometimes completes research and/or has materials. Student has completed some assignments and is sometimes ready for class.
Poor

Student rarely required research and/or assignments. Student contributed little to the overall activity.
Unacceptable

Student never completed required research and/or assignments. Student contributed nothing to the overall activity
Attendence

Excellent

Student is always in class and on time. Student stays for the entire duration of the class time.
Above Average

Student attends almost allclasses on time. Student often stays for the duration of the class time.
Average

Student is often in class. Student is usually on time and returns late from breaks occasionally. Student rarely leaves class early.
Poor

Student seldom comes to class and is significantly late. Student often leaves class early.
Unacceptable

Student never comes to class.
Social Interaction

Excellent

Student respects and encourages the views of others. Student asks questions or clarification. Student builds on others comments.
Above Average

Body and/or verbal responses indicate active listening. Student asks questions and build on others comments.
Average

Student sometimes pays attention to the group discussion. Student sometimes ask questions and builds on others comments.
Poor

Student frequently interrupts and does not respect the views of most others.
Unacceptable

Student does not interact socially at all.
