Biography Project/Poster Presentation Biography Project/Poster Presentation The students will research biographical information on a famous person of Spanish heritage. The presentation will contain information that the students collected in the form of a poster, brochure, book or collage. Content/Research	Exceeds The research includes all information relevant to the topic in an organized fashion. Including sources. Paper guide is completed.	Good The research includes all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized. Paper guide is messy and/or missing 1-2 topics	Fair Does not have all of the relevant information in the research materials. Paper guide is messy and missing 3-4 topics.	Poor The research is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented. Paper guide is messy and missing 5+ topics.	Comments
Work quality/effort	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this project.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete. Visual Aid	Exceeds The visual aids have an element of creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts. Information is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject. Aid is one of the 4 choices.	Good The visual aids are clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Information is presented in a somewhat clear manner with fair understanding of the subject. Good clear visual presentation. Aid is one of the 4 choices.	Fair The visual aids lack style and reads more like a list of facts than an oral presentation. It lacks neatness and clarity. OR Visual Aid is NOT one of the 4 choices.	Poor The visual aids do not reveal a clear understanding of the subject matter and there are many errors. The poster lacks neatness and clarity. Poster is not creative. Visual Aid is NOT one of the 4 choices.	Comments
Presentation	Exceeds The student presents the information clearly and displays a complete understanding of their information. It is evident that the student was well prepared. Voice was easy to understand. Eye contact was held with the audience.	Good The student presents the information fairly clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information. Voice was not easy to understand OR eye contact was not held with the audience.	Fair The information presented is not clearly displayed throughout the project. OR Voice was not easy to understand AND eye contact was not held with the audience.	Poor Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information, it therefore lacks many elements of what is expected. Voice was not easy to understand AND eye contact was not held with the audience.	Comments
Lab Conduct	Exceeds Student stayed on task, on time, never had to be spoken to and followed all directions. Lab rules were followed at all times.	Good Student stayed on task, on time and followed all directions and lab rules. May have been spoken to once for behavior.	Fair Student needed guidance to stay on task. Time was not used wisely. Lab rules may not have been followed at all times. Student had to be spoken to more than once	Poor Student had difficulty conducting themselves properly in the lab.
