Thanksgiving Project This rubric is intended for students while creating a Thanksgiving collage project of the things they are thankful for. After creating the collage they wrote a prayer of thanks to God for all of these things in their lives. Thanksgiving Project

Materials	Poor Student did not have sufficient materials to complete the collage	Fair Student may or may not have brought poster board but had sufficient collage materials.	Good Student has brought in poster board and sufficient photos/collage materials.
Neatness	Poor Work is messy. Materials are not secured to the poster board. May be falling off or hanging off the poster board. Prayer is written very messy.	Fair Most of the collage is neat. Some materials may not be glued securely to the board. Some stray marks on poster. Prayer is somewhat neat.	Good The layout and design of the collage is neat. Appropriate amount of glue was used to secure materials to collage. No stray marks on poster. Prayer is written neately.
Correlation to Theme of Thankful	Poor Student has materials in collage that do not correlate to the theme of thankful.	Fair Most of the collage materials demonstrate what the student is thankful for.	Good All collage materials followed the directions for the theme of thankful and demonstrate what the student is thankful for.
Prayer	Poor Prayer contains many errors making it difficult to understand.	Fair 3-4 line prayer thanking God. May have spelling and grammar mistakes.	Good 4-5 Line prayer thanking God for the things they are thankful for. Includes a greeting, appropriate spelling and grammar.
