Leads	Poor The anchors script is disconnected or inappropriate considering the pre-edited segment.	Fair The anchors script leads into the pre-edited segment in a straightforward manor.	Good The anchors script leads into the pre-edited segment in a manor that is appropriate and in consideration of the shows theme(s). It attempts to engage the audiences attention.
The 5 W's	Poor The anchors provide little information of value.	Fair The anchors provide some information that may enhance audience understanding of the pre-edited segment. Some questions may go unanswered.	Good The anchors provide all information necessary for audience understanding of the show's content. The information adds value to the pre-edited segment.
Word Choice and Flow	Poor Little thought is given to the anchors lines. The script lacks any real interest and fails to move the show forward.	Fair Word choice is thoughtful but at times lacks interest. At times the anchor script feels forced, overly jouvenile or too complicated for the intended audience.	Good Words selected add interest to the subject matter explored in the show. The anchors lines build on each other and advance the show's purpose.
