Lines and Shading Skills Story Lines A project where the students get the chance to experiment with different lines and different techniques for shading. Students will practice their techniques on hand molds so they can be ready for the second part of the unit. Assignment	A Student did all of the assignments including 2 blind contours, 2 continuous contours, 1 normal contour line drawing and a realistic rendition of the hand mold.	B Student is missing one of the assignments but did fantastic on the others.	C Student is missing two of the assignments.	D Student is missing three or more of the required assignments	F Did not do the assignment.
Effort	A Students put in more than the required amount of effort. Students tried different techniques and use what they learned for the realistic rendition.	B Student goes a bit beyond the required effort for this lesson by experimenting with what they learned.	C Student puts in minimal amount of effort to use previously taught techniques in their renditions	D Student puts in below minimal amount of effort.	F Student does not put any effort into this lesson.
Cooperation	A Able to cooperate with teachers and peers easily. Shares ideas with classmates and can ask for help easily when needed. Remains focus on the task at hand	B Able to cooperate well most of the time but can be distracted sometimes by friends.	C Half the time, student is distracted and half the time, student is working very hard.	D Unwilling to cooperate with the teachers and peers most of the time.	F Cooperation needs improvement. Unwilling to share with peers and would not cooperate with the teacher.
Risktaking	A Experimental work. Tried many techniques. Goes out of the way to learn more different ways of shading and line work to incorporate into their assignment	B Tries techniques that were taught in class but in the end stuck to one or two of them	C Student stays with one way of approaching this lesson. Student does not try or play with different techniques	D Student is only using line and refuses to use shading for their rendition	F Refuse to do anything.
