Speaking Clarity and Fluency

The student speaks clearly and confidently. The student's speech is fluid.

Poor

The student has great difficulty in speaking clearly. In addition, the student is not fluent in his/her speech.
Fair

The student speaks with limited clarity. In addition, the student struggles in producing language.
Good

The student speaks with some clarity but the listener has to struggle to understand the student. The student's speech is at an acceptable level of fluency.
Excellent

The student speaks in a clear tone and is mostly confident in his/her questions and responses. The student's speech is mostly fluid.
Outstanding

The student speaks clearly and confidently with conviction. The student's speech is entirely fluid.
