Understanding of Stories

Did I pay attention and comprehend the importance of Homer's poems to literature?

Poor

I didn't pay much attention to The Iliad and The Odyssey, so I couldn't re-tell the stories. I didn't even read the entire story board when it was displayed.
Fair

I paid attention and listened to the story, but it didn't interest me much and I can only re-tell a couple parts of the stories. I read all of the storyboard, but didn't take much interest in it.
Good

I listened and paid close attention because I understood these stories are very important to literature and Western culture. I can re-tell most of the story and I liked reading our storyboard.
Participation with Partner on Story

Was I cooperative with my teammate and did I work well with her/him?

Poor

I didn't work well with my partner and it was my fault - I should have been more cooperative.
Fair

I sometimes worked well with my partner, but we had a few disagreements that we were able to work out.
Good

My partner and I worked well together. We were able to compromise and come to agreements when we did have different ideas, and we're both proud of the work we did together.
Summarization, grammar, and punctua

Did I/we realte our part of the story so it is understood, and did we use proper grammar and puctuation?

Poor

We worked too fast, didn't check over our work, and we see now that we made silly mistakes we didn't notice because we weren't paying attention.
Fair

We worked carefully, and checked our work, but we see now that there were some things we should have corrected in the deiting process.
Good

We were very careful, made drafts before we transferred them to the storyboard, and even though we have a mistake or two, we didn't know they were mistakes and we did our absolute best in writing our part of the story.
Drawing of Story

Did my partner and I take our time to draw our part of the storyboard with care and neatness?

Poor

We drew our panels too fast and didn't take much care at all in what we were doing. We didn't check with the groups before or after us to see how they drew characters.
Fair

We took some care, but we didn't check with the group before us or after us in the story and so our characters look different than what the other (same) characters look like.
Good

We took great care in our drawings and checked with other groups drawing the same characters to make sure we made them similar. Our part of the storyboard looks really good.
Enjoyment and Learning Process

Did I think this was a good project and a fun way to learn?

Poor

I didn't like this project. I thought it was boring and a waste of time. I didn't learn much from it.
Fair

It was interesting and sometimes fun. I learned from doing the project, but I don't think I'd like to do this kind of thing again.
Good

It was fun! I think it was a good way to learn. It helped me to work with a partner and exchange ideas. When we were finished and put it all together the story really made more sense to me. Let's do this kind of thing again!
