Paper and Presentation Paper and Presentation Each student will prepare a 1-2 page, double-spaced paper, using Times New Roman font, size 12. The topic of "Why I want to be a Medical Assistant and go into the Healthcare field", should be used. Each student will present his/her paper to the class orally without using their paper. 	Excellent 20 pts	Good 10 pts	Fair 5 pts
Content	Excellent Issues and topics are clearly stated.	Good Issues and topics are stated but are not made clear.	Fair No clear discussion of issues or topics is in the paper.
Relates topic to Medical Assisting	Excellent Student makes a distinct connection between their topic and topics discussed in class using clear examples and details.	Good Student states a connection between their topic and 2 topics however does not explain how they are connected.	Fair Student does not make clear connections between topic of choice topics discussed in class.
Significance of topic	Excellent Student discusses the significance of the topic and how it applies to their education with a good amount of detail supporting their argument.	Good Student explains significance of topic however does not give a good amount of supportive detail.	Fair Student does not clearly state any significance of topic and how it applies to educational psychology.
Creativity	Excellent Presentation shows detail different from other classmate presentation.	Good Presentation was creative however could have thought outside of the box.	Fair Presentation was not sufficient in detail nor distinct from others.
Timing	Excellent Presentation was between 3-5 minutes	Good Presentation was between 1-2 minutes	Fair Presentation was less than 1 minutes long.
