Color	Excellent 3 or more complimentary or contrasting colors were were used. 3 or more shades of the same color were used.	Good Only 2 colors were used.	Unacceptable Work is Monochromatic.
Lettering	Excellent Highly Readable and attractive Lettering. Varied fonts and styles.	Good Can be read with some effort. No variation of font or style.	Unacceptable Difficult to read and/ or words are spelled or accented incorrectly.
Shape	Excellent Highly Creative choice of shape(s) and word(s)that fit well together, and put across a unified message.<BR> Memorable Qualities	Good Words form a shape but the shape is not related to the topic.	Unacceptable No attempt to fit word into a shape that fits the topic. The letters of the words do not form a relevant picture.
Content Relevance	Excellent All words/phrases contribute to the overall message of the work.	Good 1 or 2 words/phrases seem out of place or do not add value to the composition.	Unacceptable 3 or more words/phrases are un-related to the composition or detract from the completed work. <BR> Words or phrases that are NOT school appropriate used.
Originality	Excellent Student's work is original and creative.	Good Student's work resembles one of the gallery examples, but the student made it their own through customization.	Unacceptable Student's work is not original and is either identical to one of the gallery examples or is 75% similar. <BR> No evidence of creative thought/expression.
