Booklet Rubric Booklet rubric The students will put together a booklet of personalized writing. The booklet will contain relevant information directly related to their understanding of the world and wisdom. The students are required to review and explain the content to the class and teacher. Content Knowledge 5 pts	Poor The booklet is missing vital information. There are many gaps in information presented. Organization and/or information is confusing.	Fair Information may lack relevance. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.	Good Booklet includes all relevant information; is educational, shows some organization and is generally appropriate for age selected. Shows quality work.	Exceeds The booklet includes information relevant to the topic, is educational, is organized, and is appropriate for the age selected. Shows the high quality and students' reflection of personality.
Quality/Effort 5 pts	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It appears that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still lacking. Work appears rushed.	Good .Work done with good effort that shows demonstrates quality.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows pride in work. Booklet is clear, complete and easy to understand.
Creativity 5 pts	Poor Lacking in visual interest and appeal	Fair Some areas of visual interest and appeal. Some attempt to include artwork/color. Text is easily legible.	Good Appealing design Demonstrates some variety in presentation, including use of artwork. Work is neatly presented. Text is clear and easy to read. Required Components 5 pts	Poor Minimal content. Work is incomplete.	Fair Clear gaps between work submitted and required components.	Good Clear attempt to meet requirements. Variety of graphics Clear definitions Connects to "real life" 9-10 pages	Exceeds Title page Introduction-including why the topic is important. Graphics/visual aids on nearly every page. Includes simple definitions of key vocabulary. Connections to "real life" experience. At least 20 pages.
Real-World Application 5 pts	Poor The selected content is completely off the topic and doesn't meet the required criteria.	Fair The content doesn't make sense and is not useful for others.	Good The content lacks useful advices and can be partially useful to those who read it.	Exceeds The content of the book applies to real-world application and can be useful for others when read.
