The group worked very well
together and the presentation, answers, questions actvites etc. brought out the talents of the individual group members. A synergy seemed to be created such that each team member delivered part of a learning experience that is better than any individual effort might have been.

The group works well and delivers a high level learning experience. Group members benefit from each other's input and students learn.
Synergy, flow, spontaneity may be lacking.

Some members are obviously carrying the group. Some members appear disinterested except when it is their turn to speak.

Group members protect turf, refuse to help or cooperate together. The team suffers and individual efforts would have been more effective. there is a feeling of tension and hostility.

Everyone is engaged and absorbed. There might exist a feeling of discovery, challenge, intense interest. Mutuality between presenting group and participants is so great that disruption does not derail concentration or group participation.

Everyone is paying attention. Everyone can follow and move through the experience/lesson.
The feeling of utter absorption is lacking.

Lesson is learned, but who cares. There is a feeling of rote learning or boredom. Students fail to give their full attention or to be fully engaged.

Students cross talk, walk away, walk out, fall asleep, or display a gross lack of interest or receptivity.
