Group Presentation Rubric
	Excellent 10 pts	Good 8 pts	Fair 6 pts	Poor 3 pts
Organization	Excellent Presentation clearly follows the specific topics. Information was very easy to follow. Transitions between group members were well planned and executed cleanly.	Good Presentation was fairly organized and pretty followable. Transitions might have been slightly discontinuous but did not take away greatly from the overall presentation.	Fair Presentation was not clearly organized. Transitions between members were jumpy or awkward.	Poor Presentation lacked organization. Poor transitions between group members individual parts. Presentation lacked order and very difficult to follow.
Teamwork/Participation	Excellent The group worked very effectively with each other and the presentation was shared equally among the group members. Group members solved obstacles maturely and compromise to find a solution.	Good The group worked well with each other and communicated well. Some members participated slightly more than others.	Fair Group communicated relatively well with a few lapses in the presentation; some students dominated the presentation and others did not participate much.	Poor Group did not work well together. There were obvious miscommunications and lapses in the presentation.
Content	Excellent Group members had a strong grasp on the content and various popular perspectives were addressed accurately.	Good Most of the group members has a solid understanding of the content. Content missing minor elements or contained minor errors.	Fair Group members had only a superficial understanding of content. Several mistakes were made during the presentation.	Poor Group members had little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation.
Visual Aid(s)	Excellent Textual Elements were used were used effectively throughout presentation. Group members used visual aids as a supplement to support the main idea.	Good Visual aids used were somewhat effective, but weren't used consistently thoughout presentation.	Fair Visual aids used did not support verbal presentation. They lacked information, or groups members read from them.	Poor Visual aids were not used at all.
Speaker	Excellent Speakers address the class. Speakers use the presentation format to provide basic information and expand ideas through their speaking.	Good Facial expressions and body language sometimes generate strong interest and enthusiasm about the topic in others.	Fair Facial expressions and body language are used to try to generate a strong interest and enthusiasm, that seems somewhat faked about the topic in others.	Poor Very little use of facial expressions and body language did not generate much interest in topic being presented.
Vocabulary	Excellent Uses vocabulary appropriate for the audience. Extends audience vocabulary by defining words that might be new to most of the audience.	Good Uses vocabulary appropriate for the audience. Includes 1 - 2 words that might be new to most of the audience.	Fair Uses vocabulary appropriate for the audience. Does not include any vocabulary that might be new to most of the audience.	Poor Uses several (five or more) words of phrases that are not understood by the audience.
