	Poor 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Satisfactory 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Preparation	Poor I do not bring materials (music, pencil, plan book) to class. I do not practice or know my parts, and make little contribution to the ensemble.	Good I only have my materials sometimes. I am able to sing my parts about 1/2 the time, but could use more work and practice.	Satisfactory I only have my materials most of the time. I am able to sing my parts, if a I can hear a stronger singer on my part.	Excellent I always have my materials, practice often and know my parts. I make a positive contribution to the ensemble.
Attendance	Poor I am often late. I have missed several classes and/or performances.	Good I have missed more than 4 rehearsals, and been late more than 4 times. I have attended most major events and concerts.	Satisfactory I have missed a few rehearsals, and been late a few times. I have attended all major events and concerts.	Excellent I am always on time. I have been to almost every rehearsal, and attended all major events and concerts.
Participation	Poor I have a bad attitude, am not willing to learn, and don't get along with others. I make little positive contribution to the ensemble.	Good I display a good attitude, and participate in the class when I feel like it. I make a positive contribution to the ensemble occaisionally.	Satisfactory I display a good attitude most of the time, and participate in the class often. I make a positive contribution to the ensemble most of the time.	Excellent I show leadership qualities and am always willing to learn. I participate regularly in class, and always make a positive contribution to the ensemble.
