Historical Presentation 
Students will participate in presentations in order to explain issues and events in the time period assigned. Students will also describe the roles of significant individuals during that time period. Students will choose from the following presentation options: Interview with script, Reenactment with narrative script, Class Lesson with handouts. All groups will provide a visual timeline. Groups will work together to meet both group and individual goals.

Mostly relevant and demonstrates basic knowledge of the unit of study. Some effort shown to be creative. Some practice and group collaboration skills demonstrated.
Below Expectations

Limited in relevance and in knowledge of the unit of study. Lack of creativity. Needed more practice and group collaboration.
Time Management (Individual)

Meets Expectation

Was on-task all or most of the time and did not distract other students.
Approaching Expectations

Was on task most of the time with some prompting and occasionally distracted others.
Below Expectations

Did not stay on-task even with prompting. Distracted others and/or ignored group.
Work Completion (Individual)

Meets Expectation

Completed all parts of the project within time given. Work shows thought and attentiveness to instructions.
Approaching Expectations

Completed all or most of the parts of the project within time given, however, work is incomplete/sloppy.
Below Expectations

Did not complete parts of the project within time given.
Collaboration (Individual)

Meets Expectation

Shares ideas and strategies with group. Listens respectfully. Allows group members to have equal part in project. Does not need to be prompted to collaborate.
Approaching Expectations

Hesitant to share ideas and strategies in group. Listens to some of the group members and occasionally lets others take over or takes over project. Needs prompting to collaborate.
Below Expectations

Waits for group members to do work/make decisions. Does not pay attention to group discussions. Does not collaborate well.
