Student put a fair amount of thought into their character design. The sclupture has some "Tim Burtonesque" stlye to it.

Student put lots of effort and thought into their character design. Student excelled in mimicking a Tim Burton style.
Construction of Figure

Poor

Student did the bare minimum to create a sculpture. Extremely basic shapes were used and no experimentation was attempted. The figure is not stable.
Fair

Student used a fair amount of interesting shapes to create their figure. A good amount of effort was put into making sure the figure would be stable. Even if it did fall apart, it is clear that the student tried to make sure it wouldn't.
Good

Student displayed excellent construction techniques. The sculpture is very stable and has many interesting and unique details.
Painting

Poor

Student's painting looks rushed, sloppy and without thought or care. It appears that no thought was given to how paint would add to the piece.
Fair

Student put a fair amount of effort into their painting. It appears the student put some thought into how paint would add to their sculpture creatively.
Good

Student displayed excellent painting choices and technique. The painting heightens the creativity of the sculpture.
