Keyboarding Rubric 
By the end of our course, my expectations is that students should be able to type between 26-35 wpm without looking at the keyboard in most cases. This speed should produce a 90% or better level of accuracy.

Wpm is 0-5 words. Must become more efficient. Does not show improvement or consistency.
Below Expectations

Wpm is between 6 -15 words. Must become more efficient, show improvement, and be more consistent.
Needs improvement

Wpm is between 16-25 words. Acceptable level. Continues to work hard to become more efficient, show improvement, and be more consistent.
Meets Expectaions

Wpm is between 26-35. Speed is continually showing improving, and is consistent.
Beyond Expectations

Wpm is above 35 words. Speed is developed, consistent and efficient.
Typing Efficiency

How well were you able to type for you speed?

Poor

Many, more than 16, spelling and grammar mistakes. Must slow down speed and become more familiar with QWERTY keyboard. Produces 0-69% level of accuracy.
Below Expectations

Several, between 11-15, spelling and grammar mistakes. Advise to slow down speed. Produces a 70-79% level of accuracy.
Needs improvement

Some spelling and grammar mistakes, between 5-10. Room for improvement. Produces a 80-89% level of accuracy.
Meets Expectaions

Few spelling and grammar mistakes, between 1-4. Produces a 90-99% level of accuracy.
Beyond Expectations

Zero spelling and grammar mistakes.
