Poetry Analyzation Project Students will demonstrate their understanding of key concepts of poetry analyzation in terms of usage of diction and imagery. Students will be allowed to pick pieces of poetry from the resources provided by the teacher and will create projects using Thinglink. Each Thinglink should include a minimum of 1 picture, 1 video clip and 1 sound clip. Rubric Code: SXW3WW9 By jwlocklin Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: English Type: Assessment Grade Levels: 9-12

Poetry Analyzation Project
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Media Usage	Poor Student used less than 1 picture, 1 video clip, or 1 audio clip meeting minimum requirements.	Fair Student used at least 1 picture, 1 video clip, and/ 1 audio clip meeting minimum requirements.	Good Student used more than 1 picture, 1 video clip, and 1 audio clip exceeding minimum requirements.
Text Evidence	Poor Student is lacking connections between the text and their conclusions, demonstrating little to no text evidence.	Fair Student has at least 2 or 3 connections between the text and their conclusions, demonstrating some text evidence.	Good Student has clear, concise connections between the text and their conclusions, demonstrating multiple areas of text evidence.
Diction and Imagery	Poor Student is not able to relate the author's use of diction and imagery to the impact of the poem on the reader but is lacking in detailed understanding.	Fair Student is able to relate the author's use of diction and imagery to the impact of the poem on the reader but is lacking in detailed understanding.	Good Student is able to clearly relate the author's use of diction and imagery to the impact of the poem on the reader, demonstrating a clear understanding.
