Making an ABC Book The student will creat his or her own ABC Book Rubric Code: SX8C9B By ASherwood Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: English Type: Reading Grade Levels: K-5, 6-8, 9-12, Undergraduate

ABC Book
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Design and color	Poor Uses a small amount of color and pictures.	Fair Uses a moderate amount of picture and/or color.	Good Very vivid pictures and great use of color.
Creativity	Poor Uses ideas mostly from the book.	Fair Uses some unique ideas and some ideas from the book.	Good Very unique ideas for the letters of the alphabet.
Organized	Poor Book is missing some letters and/or not in alphabetical order.	Fair Book contains all letters - NOT in alphabetical order. Book is missing one or two letters.	Good Book contains all letters and is organized in alphabetical order.
Spelling/Punctuation	Poor Contains spelling errors and/or missing some punctuation.	Fair Error free spelling with minor punctuation issues. Contains error free punctuation - one or two spelling mistakes.	Good Error free spelling and correct punctuation.
Presentation	Poor Didn't present at family night.	Fair Presented - but not very enthusiastic reading.	Good Great presentation - very enthusiastic.
