- Bent knees

Receiving a serve

- The student has the proper grip (hand shake)

- Racket and hands are up in the air, racket is slightly above the head
- The student is turned at an angle to receive

The student performs the grip and/or performs some of the other cues a few times, but not everything at the same time.
