Book Report/Presentation The student will write a short book report (one page or less) on a book of their choice. They will need to include the title, author, their favorite and least favorite parts, as well as summarize the plot and talk about the main characters. Content of Report	Poor The report does not cover all of the necessary material.	Fair The report covers most of the necessary content in detail.	Good The report covers all of the necessary content in detail.
Conventions of Report	Poor The report is not written neatly and has many errors in grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling.	Fair The report is written neatly and has few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling.	Good The report is written very neatly. It has very few minor errors in grammar, punctuation, or spelling, or no errors at all.
Presentation	Poor The presenter does not use good eye contact and is hard to understand. The presenter does not cover the most important parts of the book report.	Fair The presenter mostly uses good eye contact and talks so that everybody can hear and understand him/her. The presenter basically covers the important parts of the book report.
