French Restaurant Skit French Restaurant Skit In groups, create a skit that takes place in France in a restaurant of their choosing. Students must create a menu, use props which may include food to authenticate their script. Content	Poor Many content requirements were not met.	Fair Most (about 75%) of the content requirements were met. One or two students carry the conversation.	Good Almost all (about 90%) of the content requirements were met. Almost all parts are equal.	Excellent All of the content requirements were met. Lines are full sentences and they make sense within the play. Each student has a minimum of 8 lines.
Vocabulary	Poor Utilizes limited vocabulary, some of which is inaccurate or irrelevant to the task.	Fair Utilizes limited or minimal vocabulary expressions and all the sentences are short.	Good Utilizes a variety of vocabulary and many of the sentences are rather short.	Excellent Utilizes a wide variety of vocabulary from current and previously learned units. Takes risks and tries to expand length of sentences.
Pronunciation	Poor More than half of French words are mispronounced.	Fair Several French words are mispronounced.	Good Good French pronunciation, but a few words are mispronounced.	Excellent Perfect or nearly perfect French pronunciation.
Speaking Clarity & Fluency	Poor Often mumbles and cannot be understood OR has multiple distractions and unnatural pauses. NO lines were memorized making the script seem unreal.	Fair Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time with no more than one unnatural pause or distraction. Most lines were not memorized taking away from the authencity of the script.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with no more than one unnatural pause or distraction.	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with no unnatural pauses or distractions.
Preparedness	Poor Group does not seem at all prepared to present. Lines were not memorized which added to the authenticity of the script.	Fair The group is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking. Some lines were memorized which added to the authenticity of the script.	Good Group seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals. Some lines were memorized which added to the authenticity of the script.	Excellent Group is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed. All lines were memorized which added to the authenticity of the script.
Use of Time	Poor Student was not on task during class.	Fair Student was frequently off task during class.	Good Student was on task most of the time but needed to be redirected.	Excellent Students used class time wisely and was on task.
