Most events do not occur in sequential order. Many aspects of the beginning, middle, and/or end are missing. Theme is unclear or inconsistent.	Poor Story shows no evidence of pre-planning. Writing does not follow a theme.
Originality/Creativity	Great Writing shows evidence of student thinking and creativity. The story is new and original and well thought out.	Good Writing shows some evidence of student thinking and creativity. Most story events are new and original.	Average Writing shows little evidence of student thinking and creativity.
