Good Student has at least 4 songs; the songs relate somewhat to the novel; Good use of symbolism.	WOW! Student has 5 songs; all of these songs relate to the novel in some way. Excellent use of symbolism. Songs were appropriate.
Liner notes	Poor Student does not have good explanation/liner notes that discuss the songs purpose.	Fair Student has only several liner notes that discuss connections between the song and the book.	Good Student has liner notes for each song. The connections between the song and the book are adequate. Themes are	WOW! It is evident from these paragraphs that you have read and that you have fully understood the themes and how they are connected to the lyrics of the songs you have chosen.
