Football Skills Rubric Students will be able to demonstrate proper technique and execute the basic skills of catching a football
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Catching Football Proper Stance/ Show target/ Keep Eyes on ball/Catch with hands/ Catch Ball	Poor Student does not show any type of stance. Hands are not in the right position for the throw. Student is unsuccessful making catches from good passes.	Fair Student shows sporadic stance. Student sometimes shows target. Student catches the ball with the body as well as the hands.	Good Student can perform skill with some consistency in showing a proper stance and showing the passer a target. Catches the ball with the hands oppose to with body.	Excellent Student can perform the skill on a consistent basis. Student catches the ball with hands and shows good target and change of position when catching.
