Word Choice Does it sound like you?	3 I used words that are not very descriptive. I have very simple and boring words in my article.	4 I can picture, smell or taste some of the parts that were written, but at times I had trouble tasting, smelling or seeing what was being described.	5 My description is exciting to read, because the reader can almost taste, feel, smell and see the food I'm describing.
CONVENTIONS The mistakes in your blog	3 I have so many mistakes that it is hard to read and understand my descriptive article.	4 I don't have many mistakes, but I missed some basic mistakes in spelling, capitalization, punctuation, etc.	5 I don't have any mistakes in conventions or grammar. My descriptive food article is perfect because I checked it before I turned it in.
