Spaghetti Bridge Engineering Spaghetti Bridge Contest Student will design and construct a bridge made of commercial pasta. Bridge must be constructed using acceptable engineering practices. Assessment scores will be derived from bridge design, scale drawings, materials list/cost calculation, and written report. Fair Plan provides clear measurements and labeling for most components.	Poor Plan does not show measurements clearly or is otherwise inadequately labeled.
Symmetry of Structure	Excellent Bridge structure is symmetrical.	Good Bridge structure is somewhat symmetrical.	Fair Bridge structure is not very symmetrical.	Poor Bridge structure is not symmetrical at all
Aesthetics	Excellent Bridge structure is pleasing to the eye. Shows much creativity as well as being square symmetrical, and neat.	Good Bridge structure is somewhat pleasing to the eye. Shows some creativity as well as being somewhat square symmetrical, and neat.	Fair Bridge structure is not very pleasing to the eye. Shows little creativity as well as being not very square symmetrical, and neat.	Poor Bridge structure is not at all pleasing to the eye. Shows no creativity as well as being not at all square symmetrical, and neat.
