Math Task Expectations
	20 pts	15 pts	10 pts
Important Words	20 Important words are circled or written in both the word problem and the question.	15 Important words are not all circled or written.	10 Important words are not circled and/or the wrong words are circled.
Strategy	20 The strategy used matches the problem correctly.	15 A strategy was used but does not match the problem.	10 No strategy is used. The strategy does not match the math problem or the answer.
Calculation	20 The math calculations are done correctly.	15 There are a few errors in the math calculations.	10 There are a lot of errors in the math calculations.
Answer	20 The answer to the math problem is correct and labeled.	15 The answer is correct but not labeled.	10 The answer is wrong or not present.
Explanation	20 The student explained their work. The explanation is fully correct, and matches the problem.	15 The student explained their work. The explanation is NOT fully correct, or does not match the problem.	10 The student did not explain their work or explanation does not correlate with work.
