Device and Demonstration Science Experiment & Presentation Student will create a science device to demonstrate to the class. Student is required to turn in a lab report and present the device to the class describing its operation. Report 10 pts	Excellent Report includes: Problem/Question, Information/Research, Hypothesis, Experiment including materials and procedures, observations, and a conclusion. 10 pts	Good Report is mostly complete, neat, but one or two minor details are missing. 7.5 pts	Fair Report is hastily done, student did not follow directions, is incomplete, or there are significant errors in more than one place. 5 pts	Poor Report is mostly incomplete, difficult to understand, has errors. 2.5 pts	Incomplete Required work has not been done
Presentation 20 pts	Excellent Between 3-5 minutes. The student can explain the experiment and the explanation fits with the purpose of the experiment. 20 pts	Good Between 3-5 minutes. The student can explain the experiment, but the explanation doesn't exactly fit with the purpose. 15 pts	Fair Less than 3 minutes more than 5 minutes. The student can partially explain the experiment. The explanation doesn't fit the purpose. 10 pts	Poor Less than 3 minutes. The presentation of the experiment was confusing. The student didn't really understand the purpose. 5pts	Incomplete Required work has not been done.
