Length	Poor Book has fewer than 20 pages.	Fair Book has between 20-25 pages.	Good Book has the required number of pages.
Text	Poor Text is mundane and would not be exciting for early learners. No real plot is developed.	Fair Text is somewhat interesting and is somehwat engaging for early learners.	Good Text is engaging, informative, and tells a great story for early learners.
Pictures and Creativity	Poor Pictures are not included on every page. Little creativity and preparation is shown.	Fair Pictures are included on most pages. Some creativity and preparation is evident in this book.	Good Book shows creativity and deep thought and preparation. Illustrations are used on each page.
Formatting	Poor Many of the pages lack unified layout and the project seems unorganized.	Fair Some of the pages lack unified layout and the project seems somewhat unorganized in places.	Good All of the pages are uniformly put together and are neatly arranged.
