Systems of Equations Project Systems of Equations Project Students will create a poster from a given real world problem that includes what the variables represent in context. Students will create two equations from the given problem and use a variety of strategies to solve the problem. Representation of Variables	Poor Student will include what both variables represent in the context of the system in complete sentences with assistance from the instructor.	Fair Student will include what both variables represent in the context of the system in complete sentences with limited help from the instructor.	Good Student will include what both variables represent in the context of the system in complete sentences.
Solve the sytem using graphing	Poor Student will include a graph with the axes and increments of the graph labeled clearly. The graph will include the lines of both equations with one graphed correctly.	Fair Student will include a graph with the axes and increments of the graph labeled clearly. The graph will include the lines of both equations graphed correctly.	Good Student will include a graph with the axes and increments of the graph labeled clearly. The graph will include the lines of both equations graphed correctly with the solution shown on the graph.
Solve the system using substitution	Poor Student will solve the system of equations using substitution. All work will be shown in an organized fashion with very limited mistakes.	Fair Student will solve the system of equations using substitution. All work will be shown clearly and correctly in an organized fashion.	Good Student will solve the system of equations using substitution. All work will be shown clearly and correctly in an organized fashion. The work will include a clear detailed explanation of how the problem was solved in words.

Checking of solution	Poor Student will include a check of the solution . The solution will be the same for at least two methods of solving the system. (graphing, substitution and elimination).	Fair Student will include a check of the solution that includes all work. The solution will be the same for at least two methods of solving the system. (graphing, substitution and elimination).
