How to presentation
	Need to work on 3 pts	Average 4 pts	Wow! 5 pts
Preparation	Need to work on Student turned in outline late or not at all. Outline was in pencil with very little detail. Day of presentation student is not prepared (forgot media, needs to make trip to locker, forgot this was their presentation day). Contacts me with less than 24 hours notes to ask to reschedule	Average Student turned in outline on time. Outline was neat, in ink or typed, with less than 5 errors. Student comes prepared day of presentation with no technical issues, ready for presentation.	Wow! Student turned in outline on time, very neatly typed correct outline format with sufficient detail and zero-4 errors. Student emails to me ahead of time vocabulary class will need to know and comes to class prepared with media, notes and props.
Presentation materials	Need to work on Student does not have a prop. Their Powerpoint presentation has too much text, student is reading directly from Powerpoint. Vocabulary is not explained ahead of time to class, corrections were not made to presentation, Uses 3x5 card with excess of 50 words.	Average Student provides appropriate props for presentation, uses Powerpoint to illustrate presentation minimum text, explains pertinent vocabulary to class, does not read from Powerpoint screen. Uses 3x5 card with 50 words or less.	Wow! Comes with creative and appropriate props, Powerpoint presentation to illustrate their subject; speaks with no notes and engages audience.
Timing, grammar	Need to work on Speaks for less than five minutes, more than 10 grammatical errors in speaking or writing (if Powerpoint is used).	Average Speaks for minimum five minutes with seven grammatical mistakes or less.	Wow! Speaks for ten minutes with less than five grammatical mistakes.
Speaking and accent	Need to work on Speaks with hesitation and heavy accent and is unable to answer student questions in French.	Average Speaks with relative fluency and good accent, is mostly able to answer student questions in French.	Wow! Speaks with confidence and excellent accent and is able to answer all student questions in French.
