Introduction serves to orient the reader to the topic. Research question is adequate.

Introduction clearly serves to orient reader to question being studied. Research question lends itself to action research.
Exemplary
Introduction is superior, interest of reader is hooked. Research question is succinct and able to be investigated.
Litertature Review

Literature review relates to research question and has at least 3 primary sources cited.
Accomplished
Literature review relates to research question and has five primary sources cited.

Accomplished
One or more themes are identified by the researcher and are clearly supported by the data.

Two or more themes are identified by the researcher. Strong support is provided by the researcher.

The implications suggested are not supported by the data.
Developing
The researcher's suggestions are weakly supported by the results.
Accomplished
The implications suggested by the researcher are based on the case and supported by the results.
Exemplary
The researcher's suggestions are based on strong evidence from the case.
APA references/grammar/style

Beginning
The writing is weak. Numerous citations for statements are not included in the report or are cited in the wrong style. Numerous grammar errors are present in the paper.
Developing
The writing is developing in tone and clarity. Formatting problems exist, but for the most part references are available and in the proper format.
Accomplished
The writing and grammar is consistent with standards expected of upper class undergraduate students. There are only one or two errors in formatting and reference use.
Exemplary
The references were all included in the proper format. Additionally, the writing and grammar for the paper is exemplary.
