Short Story Performance Task 
Story Board Grading Rubric
Students will be scored on their ability to chose a character from a story read, how the character and student interact, how they portray their actions and thoughts, identify events, problem/solutions, character traits, and probable alternate story endings. Students' writing must be consistent with that character's beliefs, actions, and personality from the story they had read.

Make MANY errors in grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and spelling that seriously impair the reading.
Neatness:

Students penmanship exceeds expectations, writing is legible, margins are correctly aligned, and letters are appropriately spaced.
