The article describes the issue and states its position in a way that shows mastery beyond what we learned in class.

The article missed its deadline and/or was not completed.
Beginning

The article's body does not support the article's position, or supports the position in a way that is confusing or inappropriate for a news article.
Developing

The article's body attempts to support the article's position, but it does so in an unconvincing way, and/or it uses inaccurate facts to support its position.
