Participation	Cold water Did not participate in class discussions. Did not perform the experiment.	Ice cube Partipipated some what in both class dicussions and experiment. Was somewhat engaged in experiemnt.	Ice Floe Participated in class dicussions and volunteered some answers. Was fully engaged in experiment.	Iceburg Was very invloved in class dicussion and volunteered many answers. Was engaed in experiemnt and helped others when in need.
P.O.E.	Cold water Did not complete the P.O.E. sheet.	Ice cube Completed the P.O.E. sheet with some care and accuracy.	Ice Floe Completed the P.O.E. sheet with a high degree of care and accuracy.	Iceburg Completed P.O.E. correctly, neatly and with a very high degree of accracy.
Polar Bear/Lion Comparison Sheet.	Cold water Did not complete sheet and was not able to make the comparsion of animals from two different habitats.	Ice cube Completed comparison sheet and was able to compare some of the between the two animals.	Ice Floe Completed the sheet and was able to make most all the comparisons between the two animals.
