	Excellent Student demonstrates above average level of proficiency by meeting all criteria outlined below. 5 pts	Good Student demonstrates average level of proficiency by meeting most of the criteria outlined below. 4 pts	Fair Student demonstrates below average level of proficiency by meeting a few of the criteria outlined below. 3 pts	Poor Student demonstrates little or no level of proficiency by meeting none of the criteria outlined below. 2 pts
M7A3a Plots points on a coordinate plane.	Excellent Student has correctly plotted points for four geometric figures on a coordinate plane.	Good Student has correctly plotted points for at least three geometric figures on a coordinate plane.	Fair Student has correctly plotted points for at least two geometric figures on a coordinate plane.	Poor Student has correctly plotted points for less than two geometric figure on a coordinate plane.
M7G2b Given a figure in the coordinate plane, determine the coordinates resulting from a translation, dilation, rotation, or reflection.	Excellent Student has correctly determined the coordinates resulting from a transformation for four geometric figures.	Good Student has correctly determined the coordinates resulting from a transformation for at least four geometric figures.	Fair Student has correctly determined the coordinates resulting from a transformation for at least two geometric figures.	Poor Student has correctly determined the coordinates resulting from a transformation for one or less geometric figure.
M7G3a Understand the meaning of similarity, visually compare geometric figures for similarity.	Excellent Student has correctly visually compared six pairs of geometric figures for similarity.	Good Student has correctly visually compared at least four pairs of geometric figures for similarity.	Fair Student has correctly visually compared at least two pairs of geometric figures for similarity.	Poor Student has correctly visually compared two pairs or less of geometric figures for similarity.
M7G3b Understand the relationships among scale factors and length ratios between similar figures.	Excellent Student has correctly explained how the rules change the original figure and written the new rules correctly.	Good Student has correctly explained how most of the rules change the original figure and written most of the new rules correctly.	Fair Student has correctly explained how some of the rules change the original figure and written some of the new rules correctly.	Poor Student has not correctly explained how the rules change the original figure and has not written the new rules correctly.
M7G3c Understand congruence of geometric figures as a special case of similarity: The figures have the same size and shape.	Excellent Student has correctly identified all the similar and congruent figures and given correct mathematical evidence.	Good Student has correctly identified some of the similar and congruent figures and given correct mathematical evidence.	Fair Student has correctly identified some of the similar and congruent figures and given some correct mathematical evidence.	Poor Student has not identified the similar and congruent figures nor given correct mathematical evidence.
