Poor

- Rarely or never throw the ball
- ball is soft and rarely hits the target
Fair

- sometimes throws the ball, but prefer to avoid throwing.
- ball is soft and sometimes goes near the target, but rarely ever gets anyone out.
Good

- will throw the ball often.
- ball has a fairly straight path, and often is near the intended target, sometimes getting them out.
Excellent

- actively seeks out balls to throw, and others give me balls and prefer me to to throw.
- ball is hard and usually at the desirted target.
Avoidance (defence)

- Stand at the back and hope the ball doesn't go near me.
- Not trying to avoid the ball, if it hits me it hits me.
Fair

- Usually stands at the back, but will try to move out of the way and move around so I don;t get hit.
- I try to move and not get hit.
Good

- moves around all over my area, collecting balls and trying not to get hit.
- Actively tries to avoid getting hit and puts in effort.

- moving around all the time to make it hard to get hit.
- actively and expertly able to avoid getting hit.
Game Play

Poor

- Wait out the game at hte back and not really part of the game. Just wait... but not really he;ing my team much.
Fair

- Usually waiting at the back but will go get balls and trying to help out the team.
Good

- Actively trying to wint he game by collecting balls, throwing and avoiding.
Excellent

- A major part of the team and is always trying to win. Will be the team member others look to for big plays.
Attitude/Effort

Poor

- not active and really doesn't want to play or be part of it. I would sit out if I could.
Fair

- LIkes to play, but finds it difficult to be really active and participate fully.
Good

- participates fully, is active and wants to play and do the best that you can do.
Excellent

- Is a strong competator and leads the team in activity and effort. Always wanting to play more.
