Student used the dynamics, articulation, and tempo markings provided to add to the musicality of the composition. Student used the elements of expression in a way that still made the composition possible to be performed.
Good

Student used most of the dynamics, articulation, and tempo markings correctly to add to the musicality of the composition. Student used the elements of expression in a way that made the composition difficult to perform.
Fair

Student less than half of the dynamics, articulation, and tempo markings provided to add to the musicality of the composition. Students' use of the elements of expression made the composition nearly impossible to perform.
Poor

Student makes little or no attempt to add any elements of expression to the composition.
