Group Presentation Rubric
This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions.

Excellent
Presentation was very organized and was very easy to follow. Transitions between group members were well planned and executed cleanly.

Presentation was fairly organized and pretty followable. Transitions might have been slightly discontinuous but did not take away geatly from the overall presentation.

Presentation was not clearly organized. Transitions between members were jumpy or awkward.
Poor
Presentation lacked organization. Poor transitions between group members individual parts. Presentation lacked order and very difficult to follow.
Teamwork/Participation
Excellent
The group worked very well with each other and the presentation was shared equally among the group members.
Good
The group worked well with each other and communicated well. Some members participated slightly more than others.
OK
Group communicated relatively well with a few lapses in the presentation; some students dominated the presentation and others did not participate much.
Poor
Group did not work well together. There were obvious miscommunications and lapses in the presentation.
Content
Excellent
Group members had a stronghold on the content and content was thoroughly addressed. No mistakes were made with regard to content knowledge.
Good
Most of the group members has a solid understanding of the content. Content missing minor elements or contained minor errors.
OK
Group members had only a superficial understanding of content. Several mistakes were made during the presentation.
Poor
Group members had little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation.
PowerPoint Usage
Excellent
PowerPoint presentation was used as an effective visual aid throughout presentation. Group members used slides as a supplement, not as a crutch.
Good
PowerPoint presentaion was effective, but it wasn't used consistently thoughout presentation.
OK
PowerPoint presentation did not support verbal presentation. Slides lacked information, or groups members read from slides.
Poor
PowerPoint was not used at all.
Tip Sheet
Excellent
Tip sheet provided was original and useful. Content limited to one page, and provided the most pertinent information. No typographical errors.
Good
Tip sheet provided was original and useful. However, it was longer than one page, or content was lacking. Minor typographical errors.
OK
Tip sheet provided was a copy of an existing worksheet.
Poor
No tip sheet provided, or tip sheet severely lacking important information and sloppy.
Samples
Excellent
Multiple samples used throughout presentation, both in PowerPoint and print. All samples free of errors.
Good
One sample used, either in PowerPoint or print. Sample free of errors.

One sample used, but the sample was poor and contained errors.
