Glass bowl Textured Mug Create a bowl with either a slab or by pinching into a pot. The bowl should include some kind of decorating. The bowl may include some kind of footings, and addition sculpture inside the bowl. We will add glass to the bowl during the glazing stage. Design of bowl	Fair A bowl was sculpted but pieces were broken at the end of the project. No texture or decorating is evident.	Good Student sculpted a functional bowl. There is evidence of some decorating, but some extra work could have made the project better.	Excellent Student creatively designed a functional bowl. The piece was completed with a decorative addition to meet the requirements of the assignment.
Neatness in Sculpting	Fair Sculpture turned out messy and uneven. Student broke their final piece.	Good Sculpture has a few uneven rough areas, parts could have been smoothed out and worked on more.	Excellent Sculpture is neatly and carefully done. All parts of the sculpture stayed together until the end.
Glazing	Fair Colors are applied incompletely or carelessly. Colors are distracting.	Good Colors are glazed carefully, completely, and are appropriate for the sculpture. A few spots weren't completely covered with glazed.	Excellent Student went above and beyond for glazing their project, making their sculpture excellent. All parts were glazed.
Directions	Fair Student did not have a finished sculpture. Student did not always follow directions.	Good Student didn't follow all the directions, there were some issues with the construction of the sculpture.	Excellent Student followed all directions involving: cleaning, storing clay projects, writing their name on project, and instructions creating a completed bowl.
